Ramp: The number of months it takes an employee to be fully trained and running at full productivity in a role - and the % of production which is expected by a new employee during the ramp period.
Ramp is an input to the Headcount FTE calculation.
In People, there is the option to set a ramp period for a role. For example, a ramp period for a role with 10 opportunities per month Productivity, is 2 months: 1st month βΒ 20% = 2 opportunities 2nd month β 60% = 6 opportunities 3rd month and forward β 100% = fully ramped at 10 opportunities produced each month.
